SUSAN JACKSON PHOTOGRAPHY INC., OWNER, 1993 - PRESENT
As one of the most sought-after photographers in the Midwest, I travel across the world for my national wedding clientele where I have a solid shooting schedule. On average I book 42 weddings in a calendar year. In addition to my wedding business, I’m also an active commercial photographer for fashion, product, interiors and portraiture where I collaborate with photo editors and art buyers regarding projects. In running my own business, I manage my own team of assistants, studio personnel, designers and producers where we handle full-scale production of all photo shoots. I also mange the post production of my shoots including editing, processing, color correction, retouching and custom printing. My design expertise brings a special artistic edge to my work -- I design and produce custom photographic books, multi-media presentations and note cards. In addition to organizing and conducting client meetings, I bid jobs and manage accounts payable and receivable and many other day to day office tasks.
